Blue Run Reflection 1 is meant to be a reflection of the last few turbulent years. As with any reflection, it is a time to process what has occurred, but also to pinpoint what matters the most. It’s a practice many can appreciate and tying it in with a sipping bourbon makes a whole lot of sense. Blue Run Reflection 1 is a gentle and subtle sipping bourbon, a characteristic the company has made a name for themselves on. They’ve proven their ability to blend, and it certainly doesn't hurt to have ex-Four Roses master distiller Jim Rutledge working for them now. Blue Run Spirits was founded by five people with one shared passion - great whiskey. Where did the name come from? Georgetown, Kentucky's Royal Spring — what cofounder Jesse McKnight called the “Blue Run” as a kid — home to the birthplace of bourbon back in 1789. We hope you enjoy our fine bourbons and rye whiskies as much as we enjoy producing them. The signature butterfly medallion symbolizes the metamorphosis of the world of whiskies as we introduce our bourbons and ryes to a broader, more diverse generation of spirits enthusiasts.
